Overview

QuickQuotes is an internal Google Chrome extension used by authorized employees of The Dillon Company. The extension enhances Gmail by displaying quote-related information when an email corresponds to an existing or generated quote in our internal systems.

Information Accessed

The QuickQuotes extension operates only within Gmail and only for authenticated company users. It may access:

• Email metadata necessary to identify the current Gmail message (such as message ID)

• Quote identifiers and summary data returned from The Dillon Company’s internal quoting systems

The extension does not read, store, or transmit full email contents outside of what is required to match an email to a quote.

How Information Is Used

Information is used solely to:

• Determine whether a Gmail message is associated with a quote

• Display quote status, summary details, and a link to the full quote in our internal web application

All processing is performed to support internal business workflows related to quoting and customer service.

Data Storage and Sharing

• The extension does not sell, rent, or share data with third parties

• Any data exchanged occurs only between the extension and The Dillon Company’s secure internal systems

• No personal data is used for advertising, analytics, or tracking purposes

Data Security

All communication between the extension and backend services occurs over encrypted connections. Access is restricted to authorized company users.

Scope and Audience

QuickQuotes is intended for internal business use only and is not available to the general public.
